Recently named as the Best Mid-Sized Agency to Work For (by The Holmes Report), PAN Communications is looking for a creative thinker with excellent writing skills and experience in a lead content role to join PAN’s growing Content Team in the position of Senior/Content Manager. We will look to align this role to traditional PR and integrated marketing programs to help with retainer and project-based work designed to embrace the entire content marketing journey (awareness, discovery, intent, consideration, conversion, loyalty) for the agency’s B2B technology and healthcare clients.
With our new permanent HyFlex model of working anywhere (fully remote, in one of our offices or a combo of both), we are giving the ultimate flexibility to chose where you want to work.
The Senior/Content Manager will demonstrate a proven mastery in descriptive and narrative-based writing in support of senior executive platforms, stakeholder communications and corporate storytelling. Specifically, the candidate will be able to work directly with senior client executives, translate and reimagine c-level client thought leadership platforms, and bring brand messaging through creative, descriptive and technical writing across all channels. Preference will be given to candidate who can demonstrate the ability to understand client trends and topics, capture client and executive tone, and editorialize industry perspectives that position them quickly and comprehensively as forerunners in their respective industries. Additional consideration given to candidates who understand how content can help drive lead conversion activities through the development of high-quality assets that support broader marketing strategies.
Overview of Role
This role will work collaboratively with agency stakeholders and directly with clients, subject matter experts and C-level executives, in developing end-to-end thought leadership across personal, corporate and branded channels, including earned/paid media, events/conferences (paid/earned speaking opportunities), contributed articles, blogs, podcasts and social media. Narrative-based projects may also include: setting a client brand’s strategic story arc, creating company positioning, brand or product/solution messaging, and developing assets that help our clients reach and engage their target audiences, stakeholders and communities. The candidate also has the unique skills to break down otherwise complex ideas and concepts into accessible and simplified stories by deploying various writing techniques.
The candidate will work closely with account leads and design teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts and develop messaging. Thorough research and interviews with executives/SMEs will be required to understand clients’ industries, products/services, branding, business and marketing goals. Finally, the Senior/Content Manager will participate in building awareness for PAN’s integrated marketing capabilities and skill sets with the goal of helping drive new business and organic growth in the form of more robust content marketing programs.
