PAN Communications, an integrated marketing and PR firm for B2B tech and healthcare brands, today announced it has been named a “Top Place to Work in Massachusetts” by The Boston Globe. This year marks the 11th annual employee-based survey project from the Globe, a well-known publication in the Greater Boston area. Impressively, this recognition also marks PAN’s fifth award in 2018 that stemmed from its outstanding workplace culture.
Top Places to Work recognizes the most admired workplaces in the state voted on by the people who know them the best—their employees. The survey measures employee opinions about their company’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement. The employers are placed into one of four groups: small, with 50 to 99 employees; medium, with 100 to 249 workers; large, with 250 to 999; and largest, with 1,000 or more. PAN was ranked 20th in the small category.
PAN employees reported that the agency excelled in creating an inviting and inclusive culture, as well as a culture of growth and opportunity when it comes to finding success in their careers. PAN sets itself apart from other agencies because it goes above and beyond in creating excellent employee and customer experiences – two principles the firm was founded on more than 20 years ago.
“As a CEO who prides himself in creating a people-first culture across each and every one of PAN’s offices, I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for this recognition,” said Philip A. Nardone Jr., president & CEO. “From our national awards through the Holmes Report and Entrepreneur, to our regional awards in Orlando and San Francisco, and now in Boston, PAN’s culture has been recognized across the map in 2018. I am proud to lead such an incredible group of people who are truly the heart and soul of these awards.”
The rankings in the Top Places to Work are based on confidential survey information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention. The survey collected information from nearly 82,151 individuals at 318 Massachusetts organizations. The winners share a few key traits, including offering progressive benefits, giving their employees a voice, and encouraging a fun workplace environment.
