PAN Communications, an integrated marketing and PR agency for B2B tech and healthcare brands, today announced the hire of Catherine Doyle as vice president and co-lead of the firm’s leadership team in San Francisco. Doyle will focus on building PAN’s technology portfolio in the Bay Area and fostering employee growth while the firm continues to establish itself on the West Coast as the go-to agency for tech and healthcare innovators.
Doyle will work closely with PAN’s management team to build a strong technology portfolio in 2018. Doyle’s 15+ years of experience in integrated communications includes helping launch brands, guiding clients through IPOs and acquisitions, and working with teams on both national and global scales. She joins PAN from LEWIS, where she was responsible for strategy, messaging and positioning for clients in the telecom, security, mobile and marketing tech industries. Some of these clients include Good Technology (acquired by BlackBerry), Calix, SendGrid and Qualtrics, to name a few. At PAN, Doyle will support the agency’s San Francisco office in targeting late-stage tech companies. She will continue to strengthen this skill set as a co-lead of the San Francisco office alongside Jennifer Malleo, Vice President & General Manager. Doyle will report into PAN’s EVP and Managing Director, Phil Carpenter.
“I couldn’t be more excited to welcome Catherine aboard our San Francisco leadership team,” said Phil Carpenter, Executive Vice President and Managing Director. “Her passion for integrated marketing and communications and her creative energy are qualities that will make her a strong asset to our office as we continue to expand here on the West Coast. I look forward to watching her grow as a leader in the field and a mentor to our staff.”
In addition to helping PAN forge new client relationships, Doyle will be instrumental in the firm’s regional recruiting and staff development efforts. In 2017 alone, PAN hired 65 new employees, equating to a 45 percent growth in staff and allowing the firm to reach 140+ total employees. Doyle will look to continue this momentum by developing targeted recruitment efforts, onboarding new employees and training the San Francisco staff to further hone their integrated skill sets in the rich Bay Area market.
“I’m thrilled to be co-leading PAN’s San Francisco office and look forward to helping our staff and client base grow in the upcoming years,” said Doyle. “PAN’s people-first culture is a large part of why I joined the agency, and it’s reflected in the strength of the team and the work that we create for our clients.”
