Regional Growth is on the Rise for PAN Communications in New York, San Francisco and Boston

We kicked off 2018 with some very strong and ambitious growth goals, focusing our attention on building not just an outstanding corporate culture but strong local subcultures as well. We have met these goals across the board. As we approach year end, I’m excited to share some of the major growth milestones we’ve accomplished in celebration of our employee, client and overall agency expansion.

Growth in New York: Moving into the Empire State Building

Back in August of last year PAN Communications officially opened its doors to the New York market. We hired Ryan Wallace as Vice President & General Manager to oversee the growth of our clients and employees in the greater New York metropolitan area. Today, I’m extremely proud to announce that we have officially grown out of our original WeWork office and have moved into our very own space in the Empire State Building.

This is a strategic move for PAN as we continue to rapidly expand our PANhattan team and client roster. I’m thrilled to see our clients growing in the New York market especially in the adtech, martech, fintech and retail tech sectors. PAN plans to be there for these disruptive brands as they embrace an integrated marketing and PR model and seek an agency that will work with them to move ideas forward. This new office space means that we can continue to add new and talented staff to join our 13+ PANhattan team. Ryan and our leadership team, have been instrumental throughout this expansion, and I look forward to working with them in 2019 to keep this momentum going.

Growth in San Francisco: Welcoming a New Vice President & Co-Lead

During Q4, our San Francisco team will be onboarding and getting to know our newest VP & Co-lead: Kari Hulley. Kari comes to us from a VP position at Inkhouse Communications, where she spent the last eight years. We chose Kari to join the PAN team because she is passionate about what she does, she cares about helping others excel at their professions, and she thrives on motivating her teams. I know that she and Catherine Doyle (PAN West’s other VP & Co-lead) will become great partners.

Earlier this year PAN announced that we were the agency of record for three major West Coast brands: AppDirect, NGINX and SiftScience. With Kari’s arrival we will continue to build relationships with brands that are disrupting the B2B technology space. Specifically, in Silicon Valley we are seeing a progressive need for integrated marketing and PR services among emerging growth businesses. On top of supporting Catherine with these West Coast business development goals, Kari will also play a key role in professional growth development for those SF employees. We have a wonderful team in the Bay Area, and I’m happy that Catherine and Kari will work together and focus on accelerating PAN’s West Coast brand awareness.

Growth in Boston: Expanding and Redesigning

Back in 2011, PAN Communications hit a major milestone by moving from a small office in Andover to a spacious office located in downtown Boston’s waterfront location. Fast forward seven years later and PAN is now located in four cities nationwide. In Boston, we’ve outgrown our original office space with the area’s top marketers and PR practitioners. Today, I’m pleased to share that we’ve taken over the entire eighth floor and set off a massive redesign of our office space. Key new features include a reception area which highlights our mission and values, three small conference rooms for informal meetings, a new conference room we’ve officially named Harbor Islands, an additional kitchen, a Zen-like comfort room for new mothers, four phone booths, alongside several new executive offices and work stations for our staff. I hope that our Boston crew continues to enjoy these new amenities, and I can’t wait to give our clients the grand tour when they come and visit.

In addition, I’m thrilled to announce that our team has been recognized by the Boston Globe as a “Top Place to Work” in 2018. I’m proud to lead such an incredible group of people who are truly the heart and soul of these awards. Find out more in the press release, here.

I’m thrilled that we continue to meet our growth goals. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the leadership team for their continued hard work and effort they put into motivating our staff. Lastly, a huge shout-out to our entire team for their drive and ambition. We are nothing without our amazing PAN staff members!

Onward.

We’re ready to move.
