PAN Communications Enters 2016 with an Expanded National Presence and New Growth Strategy

BOSTON – February 25, 2016 – PAN Communications, an integrated marketing communications agency servicing tech, healthcare and consumer tech brands, today announced another highly successful year in which the firm recognized 2015 revenue growth of 25 percent. With the challenges of the modern marketer in mind, PAN continues to evolve its integrated marketing communication services, leading to new client wins, industry recognition and significant organic growth. Capping off its record 2015, PAN acquired San Francisco-based tech PR agency Vantage PR.

“PAN reached new levels of growth in 2015 with our recent acquisition, new hires with a hybrid skill set and the increased demand for integrated marketing communications services, which led to several new client wins and the industry’s best talent joining the firm,” said Philip A. Nardone Jr., president and founder of PAN. “Our 2016 growth strategy focuses on further expanding brand visibility by showcasing our hybrid model and highlighting our international capabilities for a stronger global presence.”

2016 Growth Strategy

Entering 2016 with offices across the country, PAN is poised to expand its national footprint and industry-leading recognition as a mid-sized independent firm while strategically growing across four office locations. This new national presence will be the foundation for reaching CMOs that are looking for an integrated marketing communications agency with a strong focus on solving the pain points and reaching the demands of today’s modern marketing departments. The rapid growth of talent within the agency further supports PAN’s capabilities for providing integrated services, which includes digital marketing, PR, social media, data & analytics and content creation. Employees possess a hybrid skill set, which results in an evolving service for PAN, offering enhanced analytics and storytelling across all forms of media to drive key influencer relations.

A New Beginning

April 1, 2016, will mark the official integration of the Vantage PR brand under PAN. Together, these two agile and creative firms will leverage data-driven PR, content and digital media for their clients across a variety of growing segments. With more than 100 employees spanning Boston, San Francisco, Orlando and New York, the combined agency has already started to share in successes around new client wins and integrated cross-office resources. This momentum from the fourth quarter of 2015 will continue to drive into 2016 as brands continue to seek firms that offer a robust array of services to meet the demands of the connected customer through an omni-channel approach.

“After the last three years with PAN we entered the next phase in our growth trajectory and needed a firm with a strong West Coast presence to allow for more frequent in-person meetings and regular face-time with our management team. We looked at a variety of firms in Q4 2015, but with PAN’s acquisition of Vantage PR we decided to retain PAN because it was able to provide us with the much needed office in our own backyard while also maintaining and expanding upon the deep expertise in our business and industry,” said Chris Taylor, senior director of corporate communications, Talend.

2015 Agency Highlights

After more than 20 years, PAN Communications is now even more dedicated to achieving consistent client successes by leveraging compelling storytelling and unmatched results. The firm has grown its client portfolio in its fourth quarter, expanding in all sectors of mobile, security, consumer tech and healthcare industries. These recent client wins complement existing efforts to bring in opportunities that are relevant to PAN’s core expertise. A few fourth-quarter successes, which include both new clients and clients retained after RFPs to agencies with a West Coast presence, are:

  • Sisense: a leader in Business Intelligence for complex data which allows you to easily prepare, analyze and explore growing data from multiple sources.

  • Talend: a global leader in big data integration software.
  • DYN: an Internet Performance Management company.
