PAN Veteran Matthew Briggs Expands Leadership Team as Firm’s Newest Vice President

PAN Communications, an integrated marketing and PR agency for B2B technology and healthcare brands, today announced the promotion of director and longtime PAN veteran Matthew Briggs to vice president. During his nine years at the agency, Briggs has demonstrated a unique approach for leveraging data into strategic storytelling. His results-driven campaigns have delivered exceptional customer experiences while garnering award-winning recognition for his clients. Through his years in the industry, Briggs has developed an aptitude for integrated marketing and PR by ensuring his clients’ stories and ideas are moving across a multi-channel experience and by creating content that connects with customers’ journeys.

In his new role, Briggs will now be responsible for the strategic planning, storytelling and implementation of key services and programs for several B2B tech and healthcare clients. Additionally, he will map out the right measurement framework for each brand to align its program’s goals and objectives. Ensuring his teams are staying ahead of the latest industry tools and skills needed to expand their professional careers, Matthew will also play a critical role in development and performance management.

“Matthew has been an instrumental member of our healthcare and technology portfolios, leading award-winning programs for B2B clients ranging from emerging growth digital health companies to established, publicly traded biopharma services companies,” said Dan Martin, senior vice president, healthcare. “I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Matthew for many years now and am thrilled to see him elevated to the VP level where I am confident he’ll continue to be a thoughtful, strategic leader and mentor to his teams and clients alike.”

Briggs started as a part-time employee and senior account executive at PAN, quickly transitioning to a senior account manager position and subsequently taking on the director role. His rapid professional advancements during his time at the agency speak volumes to the firm’s dedication and support when it comes to its employees’ career growth.

Throughout his tenure at PAN, Briggs has helped oversee tech and healthcare accounts that play an integral role in the firm’s successes, including Maestro HealthFuze, PROS, Quanterix, Mercury Systems, and UpWell Health. During his five-year run with Fuze, Briggs helped the tech giant move from an emerging growth business to a leader in enterprise global collaborations by developing aggressive media relations and integrated marketing strategies. Recently for UpWell, Briggs was responsible for increasing visibility for the brand’s “Impact of Diabetes on Everyday Life” survey, resulting in 46 pieces of coverage and 523 eBook downloads that generated 116 inbound leads.

“This is an exciting time for PAN. Being a client-and people-first agency, we are experiencing tremendous momentum across our integrated marketing services,” said Briggs. “This is a direct response to the results our teams are generating driven by our analytical approach across the technology and healthcare practices. PAN has long stood as the firm that invests in the individual and understands the importance of building competencies across a range of skill sets to nurture leaders and create the industry’s top practitioners. I’m fortunate to have been exposed to great leaders and unparalleled learning experiences throughout my time at PAN and look forward to what’s ahead.”
