RSA Conference Wednesday Recap: Super Swimmer and 9-year-old CEO Take to the Keynote Stage

Fresh off the SC Magazine awards dinner – congratulations to all the winners! – Wednesday was a day of inspiration at RSA Conference.

In what seemed to be the fan favorite keynote of the day, super swimmer Diana Nyad told us we’re never too old to chase our dreams. Her message of perseverance definitely resonated with the security audience.

And we were all impressed by Reuben Paul, the 9-year-old CEO of Prudent Games and budding hacker. Paul valiantly attempted a social engineering attack on Chris Hoff of Juniper Networks and sent an important message that we need to educate kids on cyber security so “they know how to protect themselves and the world.” Paul and Hoff’s poise and humor, despite the demo fail, kept us all engaged. Hoff proved the demo indeed works with this video he Tweeted afterward,
