In Christopher Booker’s book, Seven Basic Plots, he outlines the seven archetypal themes that recur in every kind of storytelling. In this infographic, I will name and describe the seven different types of stories. Almost every great story follows one of these seven models, and every great brand links itself to one of these seven plots. So, if your brand does not yet have a storytelling framework, then I suggest you take a look at these seven plots, and think about which one of these stories you want to tell.
