From One Bridge to Another: Introducing the Latest PAN Benefit

PAN Communications

If you’ve met me, there is no mistaking where I’m from. With a thick accent that sounds vaguely familiar to the characters from The TownGood Will Hunting or The Departed, it is safe to assume I am from Boston. As @BostonKate on Twitter, it rings true to the life I’ve created around the city I love — from childhood with my extended family in one block, to college at Bentley University, to adulthood, purchasing a home with my husband close to PAN. In short, I’d say I’m a true Boston girl.

I’ve always felt lucky to be a part of PAN, but I must say that our recent acquisition of San Francisco based Vantage PR took the excitement level to new heights. We couldn’t be happier for the union of Vantage and PAN. With a majority of east coast clients, I falsely predicted how much the acquisition would directly impact me and my own family. I immediately experienced the great addition of west coast and Orlando co-workers who have quickly become friends over Skype, Zoom and FaceTime, and I’ve added two new cities to my travel bucket list. After spending the week at RSA Conference this past March, staying at Union Square and meeting the PAN West folks in person, I fell in love with SF and couldn’t wait to explore more of the city that many tech companies call home.

PAN Communications is boldly embarking on its next chapter in Silicon Valley with a move to a new, expanded office. One of our most exciting new benefits is a program that encourages any employees interested in working out of a different office to come forward and work with PAN’s executive team to make it happen. I am so thrilled to be taking advantage of this incredible program for the months of July and August, when I’ll be working out of our brand new SF office, experiencing the PR scene in San Francisco and collaborating with my PAN West coworkers!

Stay tuned to prSPEAK for more updates as this Boston gal explores the view from one bridge (Zakim) to another (Bay) and everything in between.

We’re ready to move.
