When is a Shortlist not a Shortlist? When it’s PAN + CloudBees

Hot off the press: Just announced that PAN’s Meme campaign for CloudBees made the shortlist of this year’s SABRE Awards.

Can’t be happier for the team of Katelyn, Mike, Sarah, Gaby and Jen Bonney, our creative director. And, of course, a shout out to Andre and Heidi at CloudBees for their great collaboration and partnership!

This year’s awards in North America were judged by industry experts from forward-thinking organizations, including Salesforce, Xero, RedPoint Ventures, Intel, among many others, who read through hundreds of entries to compile the shortlist.

The full shortlist can be accessed online.

The campaign we created was called “Breaking Builds,” playing off of, you guessed it, “Breaking Bad.” We designed memes, tapping famous lines from the series (like the one below) and putting CloudBees’ butler character in the role of Walter White. CloudBees’ business is helping developers build apps; the campaign seemed to jazz the developer audience, which is active on social channels.

It’s a great example of how current (and future!) PAN clients can take advantage of digital and social channels to propel their integrated marketing efforts

Looking forward to the In2 SABRE Awards dinner, taking place at the Park Central San Francisco on the evening of February 16, 2016.

Here’s a sample of the work we did:
