PAN Communications

Next week marks the beginning of INBOUND 2018 happening in Boston, MA. This annual conference brings together more than 21,000 marketers, sales execs, CX experts and inbound professionals so that they can learn, get inspired, network and grow together in this fast-paced, digital age. From September 4-7, attendees will be focused on getting the most out of their experience by attending notable learning sessions and keynotes that match their interests. Some of the top speakers this year include Deepak Chopra, best-selling author and founder of Copra Foundation; Beth Comstock, former vice chair of GE; Shonda Rhimes, award-winning writer, executive producer and best-selling author, as well as Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah, co-founders of HubSpot.

With all the day-to-day busyness of a conference and more than 100 breakout speakers it can be a challenge to decide which sessions are worthy of your attendance and which influencers you’ll want to follow and engage with at the event.

2. Anjali Sud (@anjsud)

CEO, Vimeo

Sud joined Vimeo in 2014, serving as the VP of global marketing and prior to Vimeo, she spent four years with Amazon in various business development merchandising and marketing positions. She encounters many challenges with her role at Vimeo as she continues to face fierce competition like Netflix, Hulu and the like. But, with her leadership skills, creativity and confidence she’s not one to waiver in spearheading the continued growth of the world’s largest ad-free online video platform. Sud is a spotlight speaker this year at INBOUND so don’t miss her session on Wednesday, September 5, at 10:30 a.m. You’ll discover how she shifted gears for Vimeo and got the brand focused on providing individuals and businesses with the tools they need to distribute and monetize their work anywhere with the absence of advertising dollars driving the content.

3. Rand Fishkin (@randfish)

Founder, SparkToro

Fishkin founded Moz back in 2004, and it’s now one of the fastest-growing software companies out there. He recently switched gears at the beginning of this year and founded SparkToro where he continues to shine a spotlight on content marketing and SEO. He inspires and educates marketers everywhere with his popular ‘Whiteboard Friday’ series and travels regularly to various marketing conferences around the world where he’s featured as a keynote or session speaker so that he can continue to share his wisdom. Fishkin has a few sessions going on at this year’s INBOUND 2018, check them out here. You’ll be sure to break into the brilliant mind of Fishkin and learn about his biggest regrets, lessons learned, marketing tactics and his latest go-to marketing strategies.

4. Payal Kadakia (@PayalKadakia)

Founder, ClassPass

ClassPass is the first company to have pioneered the fitness subscription model, allowing users to find and book different exercise classes at different studios around their given city. Kadakia has raised $255 million for this company and it’s now the world’s largest subscription operating in more than 50 cities globally. She’s recently stepped down from her role as CEO of the company appointing Fritz Lanman who shares her belief in the company’s mission. She’s known for being a bit of a risk-taker in her career and her determination is what led to the ideation of ClassPass – only giving herself two weeks to come up with the business idea. Don’t miss Kadakia’s spotlight session on Friday, September 7, at 10:30 a.m. You’ll learn about how to build a successful brand, how to create the change you want to see, and the road to becoming more authentic.

While Kim enjoyed his time at the company, he’s excited to get back to his roots by growing a business from the ground-up and diving back into some coding. Kim is a phenomenal writer and has been featured in publications like Inc., Business Insider, Marketing Land, Search Engine Journal and more. Kim will be speaking at INBOUND this year about The Top 10 Facebook Messenger Marketing Hacks of All Time.
