PAN Kicks Off 2018 With a Bang!

Philip A. Nardone, Jr.
President & Chief Executive Officer | Boston, MA

2018 certainly kicked off on the right foot for PAN Communications. The PAN team continuously makes strides in the industry to keep up with the growing demands of our clients and the B2B tech and healthcare markets. As a result, I’m proud to recap a successful start to the year, including new service offerings, award wins and the continued expansion of our talented leadership and digital teams.

New Influencer Marketing Service Offering

Last year, more than one-third of PAN’s current clients leveraged our integrated service offerings. This comes as no surprise, as most B2B tech and healthcare marketers continue to understand the benefits of a holistic approach to messaging and storytelling via an omni-channel platform. With this in mind, we continue to see rapid changes when it comes to IM and PR, one of which being the rise of influencer marketing. This year, we are shooting for one-half of our client base to be true IM+PR clients.

The practice of influencer marketing has been no stranger to PAN. Last year, many of our clients worked with PAN to form these new relationships and, as a result, achieved their brand awareness and engagement goals.

In February, our co-leads of Client Relations decided to make this service offering even more visible and known to both clients and brands seeking an influencer marketing program with an integrated service offering. We launched our influencer marketing program called ‘The Power of Voice’. In association, we provided a new eBook, titled “The Power of Voice: The Art and Science of Influencer Marketing,“ to educate our clients and the industry on an integrated viewpoint. We have a unique approach here at PAN because we focus on how these relationships amplify what we’re already accomplishing with media and analysts.

Award Wins, Rankings and Accolades

Due to PAN’s creativity, knowledgeable employees and successful client roster – I’m proud to announce that our agency has walked away with several award wins recognizing PAN’s work on client campaigns, its expertise in tech PR and the agency’s overall growth. The year isn’t even over and here is a list of our recent wins.

  • PAN has been shortlisted for the Holmes Report’s Tech Agency of the Year. This list stems from an exhaustive research process involving more than 150 submissions and 50 face-to-face meetings with the best PR firms across US and Canada. Winners will be unveiled on May 1.
  • Two PAN client teams were selected as finalists for the Holmes Report North America SABRE Awards:
    • Cogito for Corporate Media Relations
    • SAP Leonardo for Gold Campaign (Gold SABRE: Geographic Categories)
  • SAP Leonardo was also recognized as a finalist for PRSA’s Silver Anvil Awards for their campaign titled “SAP Leonardo and a Renaissance in Modern PR” in the Influencer Marketing to Expand Awareness category
Expansion within our Digital Marketing and Leadership Teams

You can’t achieve success in this industry without the right team dedicated to collaborating with you, with each other and with our clients. That’s why we always strive to recruit the best and the brightest here at PAN.

I was thrilled to announce in January the additions to our growing digital and analytics teams. We brought on several key experts whom have already shown that their skills and capabilities can drive brand engagement and ultimately ROI, not only for our clients, but in-house efforts as well. Adrienne Ritchie, Senior Marketing Account Supervisor; Bret Kurtz, Senior Graphic Designer; and Ashley Wallace Jones, Senior Marketing Account Supervisor have been working with our Vice President of Digital, Michele Frost, and Creative Director, Jen Bonney, to leverage their data-driven mindsets + digital & creative expertise to deliver integrated value-add for PAN’s clients.

Later in the quarter, we also announced a new Vice President to our growing leadership team in the Boston office, Adam Cormier. Adam brings to the table more than 15 years of integrated campaign experience, including a specialization in technology, influencer relations and content marketing. This additional hire demonstrates PAN’s dedication to our client relations and support towards exceeding industry standards around integrated marketing and PR.

I’m thrilled with the results from this year to date and I’m excited to continue with this exceptional momentum.

As always, I am proud to spearhead this amazing firm; our future is brighter than ever!!

If you’re interested to learn about what else we’ve been up to here at PAN, I encourage you to check out this recent blog post and video from PAN’s Executive Vice President, Mark Nardone. He discusses the power and importance of moving ideas within the market and our strategy to make this happen for our clients.

Onward.
