Tell me about yourself and how you came to PAN.

I joined PAN through Vantage PR, which was acquired by PAN in 2015. I started my career with Vantage right out of college as a PR Assistant, and just this month celebrated my five-year anniversary. Becoming part of the PAN family has been an absolute joy. I have more opportunities than ever before. I’ve gotten to work with a truly passionate, dedicated and whip-smart team and represent some of the most exciting and impactful companies in the tech space.  

In my down time, you’ll probably find me binge-watching Netflix with my adorable fur babies (two sweet Morkies named Daxter and Kona) or visiting a local brewery with my husband and our friends. 

How do you take advantage of PAN’s work hard, play hard mentality in Orlando? 

The absolute best part of working at PAN is the people. Everyone I’ve had the pleasure to work with has been as intelligent and creative as they are thoughtful and fun. It’s a powerful combination that leads to great results for clients and very memorable PAN pubs. Often, we find common interests that bonds us (like Game of Thrones, the great equalizer), but other times we get to share and learn from one another  be it a new book to read, show to watch or taco spot to check out. No matter what we’re doing  be it briefing books or pre-yoga beers at WoB  I know there’s no better crew to do it with! 

What drives you as a PR professional? 

The ability to flex my creative muscles and hone my skills. In PR, no day is ever the same, and there will always be a new task to face that requires a unique creative approach. I look forward to these challenges as a way to push the boundaries of my imagination, writing skills, strategic thinking and all the other tenets that make up a successful PR professional.  

Are there any PAN leaders that you look to for inspiration? If so, why?   

Every one of them. I can’t think of a single PAN leader who hasn’t taught me something, but so much of my inspiration  and career aspirations  comes from the talented and brilliant women at PAN who lead their teams with grace. They’ve taught me to stay cool in the face of challenges, think strategically and critically and maybe most importantly, to find the work/life balance that works for me. 

How has PAN supported your growth as a PR professional? 

PAN has given me the opportunity to explore all that integrated marketing has to offer. The industry is always changing and evolving, so PAN is too. We’re constantly implementing new programs, offerings and tools that enable us to stay ahead of the curve across all areas of traditional PR, integrated marketing and graphic design. This has created many opportunities for me to get my feet wet in new areas of the business  an impulse that PAN has wholeheartedly encouraged. As a result, I’ve expanded my skill set with tools like TrendKite and NetBase and found new aspects of the field that I enjoy, such as social media marketing (both organic and paid) and research survey development.
