Tell us three fun facts about yourself:
1. I have ten nieces and nephews.
2. I once biked from Seattle to San Francisco.
3. I love exploring new (and familiar) places on foot.
What made you go into PR and what do you love most about it?
I took a dance course during my senior year of college that was somewhat conceptual – we planned, participated in and developed the overall theme for the school’s annual dance concert. Through the process of thinking about the audience perspective and how we would best convey the desired theme and messages, I realized I love the idea of branding and communicating a message. I was also passionate about psychology and literature courses in school, so a career focused on communication and writing was a natural choice.
My favorite part about PR is that it’s always changing. Right now, brands are continuing to adjust to the always-evolving digital world and looking for an integrated approach to better reach their audiences. With that shift, I love that I work on a number of different activities – from writing to creative project management to connecting with the media – on any given day.
What made you select PAN? Initial impressions so far?
The people are all incredibly nice and smart, and they love PAN and PR. The company also has a really nice mix of great clients. And I mean, the view of Boston Harbor from our office is just fantastic!
So far I feel really welcomed and am excited to get to know everyone and get to work.
Where can we find you on the weekends?
Traveling throughout the Northeast to ski, hike (well, walk), and visit new places. Or around Boston, enjoying our beautiful city with my family and friends.
