PAN Communications Selected as U.S. AOR For The Brazilian Footwear Industry Association

Boston, Mass. – December 6, 2011 – PAN Communications, one of the nation’s leading innovative public relations and digital media agencies, with deep expertise in the technologyconsumer engagementhealthcare & life sciences, and professional services sectors, today announced that it has been selected as U.S. agency of record for Abicalçados, the Brazilian Footwear Industry Association, to advance the interests of Brazilian shoe manufacturers in the U.S.

The footwear manufacturers represented by Abicalçados are responsible for an annual production of approximately 890 million pairs of shoes and 143 million pairs of those are distributed globally to more than 140 different countries and generate an inward flow of US $1.5 billion in revenues. Working with established Brazilian footwear brands including MelissaLuiza BarcelosiPANEMAand Morenatom as well as up and coming brands like PampiliStéphanie Classic and Cecconello Divas, PAN will oversee development and execution of digital strategy, media relations and trade show support for Abicalçados.
